Ahead of the convention of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA and the nomination of new party chairman in June 2019, it has become a collective expressions of anger by the members of the party on Chief Victor Oye over uncountable accusations of gross misconduct and abuse of office especially in the 2019 general elections.
The aggrieved members last week after the BOT meeting in Enugu expressed their collective disappointments over the national chairman of the party insisting that Chief Victor Oye must payback all the money he allegedly stole from the party and its members and equally leaves the party.
Recall that before the primaries election in Imo state, some candidates were defrauded by Oye. According to the reports, Chief Victor was found guilty of manipulating forms to candidates who were not qualified while reselling already sold forms to others.
Also Victor Oye is alleged to have been found guilty of antiparty activities especially where he received huge sums from opposition parties against the candidates of his party.
Our agent also narrated how in Enugu Oye was attacked by an aggrieved party member on his visit to the house of Uchenna Nwaegbo but was smuggled inside the house by his thugs and policemen.
The group finally petitioned the APGA NWC to either sack the Amawbia chieftain or run the risk of losing the third largest political party in Nigeria.
